Why remove metadata?
Photos can contain GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers, and timestamps. Remove them before sharing online to protect your privacy.
What gets removed?
EXIF data, GPS location, camera info, author details, creation timestamps, software info, and all other embedded metadata.
Which files can I clean?
JPEG, PNG and WebP. Removal is lossless — the picture is copied through untouched — and only those three containers can be rewritten that way. Your original file is never modified; the cleaned copy arrives as a new download.
